The boys and girls (pretty much all the former, but that needs to change) of the Bongo Project would like to remind all usability/graphic gurus and also all those interested in having a swish, usable, integrated mail and calendar server that there is a meeting to address some issues with the web UI (codenamed Dragonfly) this Friday. Some people can't make it, but most people can.

It will be a somewhat informal discussion to reflect the fact that some people will be able to come earlier, some later, and some not at all. Basically, it will be a public discussion forum and then a summary of the discussion will be posted to the Developers mailinglist and hopefully there will be some good consensus about where the project is going to go.

So the details you need to put in your PIM are:
Friday 5th October, 09:00 UTC onwards on #bongo on irc.oftc.net

Alex (the great Moo) has written some brief notes about the main problems that he would like addressed here, if you think of anything else please add them. Here is a brief synopsis:

*Making sure the experience is reasonably quick, and usable over https
*Making sure the UI is reliable, handles errors gracefully and is trustworthy
*Having a decent base on which to build the various features we want to add
*Having a reasonable plugin system

It would also be handy to have a good vision for how calendars/events can be shared with people not on your Bongo system; there are ideas and thoughts , but there isn't much of a plan to get there.

So please, come if you can and do tell your friends if you think they'll be interested and can help. Actually just come over anyway as I'm susre you can help - kick the tyres, look under the bonnet/hood, hack on code etc :-)
