So Alex has been hacking away like a good boy and trying to improve Bongo's Store, and also trying sqlite for indexing instead of CLucene. As with pretty much everything that Alex and the rest of the folk do it all needs testing. So to this end I have created bongo-experimental packages for all the distros which you can get in the same repo as the other packages - http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/FunkyPenguin:/Bongo/<$VERSION> Yes, for all you openSUSE users there is a 1Click:
bongo-experimental button
openSUSE 10.2 || openSUSE 10.3 || openSUSE 11.0

Word of warning, you need to uninstall any previous version AND delete you localstatedir. Yes this does mean you will loose all data and any messages that you did have.

If using openSUSE just run zypper rm -y bongo and then rm -rf /var/bongo/*
The new store is orders of magnitude faster, but with the new speed there are most likely new bugs, so please test it out and let us know.
